Dad’s Health Tips *

 

1.         Stop negative thoughts! They account for a 75%-95% of all illnesses.

2.        Drink plenty of good clean water.

3.        Eat one yogurt per day, gut flora plays a major role in our immune system.

4.       Take 500mg of vitamin C and 1000 I.U. of vitamin D3 every day.

5.       Avoid Sodium Nitrate! It is in most processed meats.

6.       Avoid processed foods and preservatives

7.       Limit alcohol to 10 oz a day. The liver can safely process 10 oz of alcohol a day.

8.       Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep every day.

9.       Workout at least three times a week for 30 – 60 Minutes, 50% Cardio (HIIT) and 50% Weights.

10.     Get 20 minutes of sunshine a day.

11.       Fast once a month for 24 to 48 hours. Repeat for 6 months and then stop for 6 months.

12.      Use sun screen if you will be exposed to the sun for more than 30 minutes.

13.      Floss daily, swallowing plaque buildup can increase chance of a stroke.

14.     No more than 16 oz of coffee a day.

15.     Avoid prophylactic and superfluous use of antibiotics.

16.     Keep body fat low.

17.     Have safe sex regularly

19.     Eat at least one banana per day.

20.    Eat the least amount of food that you can tolerate. Eat until you are full, not stuffed. Always leave a little food on your plate.

21.      Don’t take aspirin or acetaphetamine. Aspirin can cause internal bleeding and acetaphetamine can cause liver damage. Just “wait it out”, your headache will go away on its own. Usually a good workout will make it go away.
